1. Full Coverage foundation

A natural full coverage foundation made with natural ingredients like shea butter, argan oil and aloe vera gel which will help you to get a moisturised skin, fight acne, protect your skin from sun damage and reduce skin inflammation along with giving you a full coverage.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of argan oil
  • 1 teaspoon shea butter
  • 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
  • 1 teaspoon witch hazel
  • ½ teaspoon cocoa powder
  • ½ tablespoon emulsifying wax

Method

  • In a glass bowl take some shea butter, argan oil and emulsifying wax.
  • Melt these ingredients using a double boiler method until the mixture becomes nice and smooth.
  • Add in some witch hazel and aloe vera gel into it and turn off the flame.
  • Let this mixture cool down for a while and then add cocoa powder to it.
  • Mix everything well to get a foundation with a smooth consistency.
  • Pour this mixture into an airtight container and store 

2. Light coverage foundation

Moisturising foundation to give you a light coverage with the goodness of nutmeg powder which will help to prevent and fight acne.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 tablespoons of moisturizer
  • ½ teaspoon cornflour
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg powder
  • ½ teaspoon cocoa powder
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • 2 drops of your favourite essential oil

Method

  • In a bowl take some moisturiser and add cornflour, nutmeg powder and cocoa powder to it.
  • Add in a few drops of essential oil into the bowl and give it a nice mix.
  • You can choose to add a pinch of turmeric if you have a warm skin tone.
  • Mix everything well so that all your ingredients are mixed nicely.
  • You can always add some more cocoa powder to your foundation so that it matches your skin tone.

 3. Powder Foundation

Easy to make very quick DIY powdered foundation for that non-sticky and non-oily feel enriched with the goddess of Kaolin Clay to help you get rid of excess oil, soothe skin and to give your skin the ultimate glow. 

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Kaolin Clay or China Clay
  • ¼ cup Arrowroot powder
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • Cocoa powder

Method

  • Mix the kaolin and arrowroot powder in a bowl and add the desired amount of cocoa powder into it to match your skin tone.
  • Add in a pinch of turmeric powder if you have a warm skin tone.
  • Mix everything together and store into an airtight container to keep away from any moisture.
