What do you need?
- ¾ cup green gram (moong dal)
- 1 chopped tomato
- 1 tbsp chopped onions
- 1 chopped green chilli
- 1 small chopped carrot
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves
- ¼ cup chopped cucumber
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ tsp chaat masala
- Salt to taste
How to Prepare?
- Wash the green gram thoroughly and soak it in a bowl of water for 8 hours or overnight.
- Drain off the water and wash the gram with some glean water.
- Line a mason jar with clean and moist muslin cloth and wrap the soaked gram in it.
- Keep it in a warm and dark place for about 2 days and allow it to sprout.
- Take out the sprouted gram and wash it thoroughly with fresh drinking water.
- Rinse it well and transfer to a big bowl.
- Add in the chopped vegetables, chaat masala and sa;t to the bowl and combine well.
- Garnish this with some fresh coriander leaves and your super healthy and delicious bowl of sprouts is ready.
