Hrithik Roshan’s drool-worthy physique has been a source of inspiration for millions of people. His recent promo for his upcoming movie ‘Fighter’ has once again reinvigorated the conversation around his envious body and fitness.
If you want to achieve his physique, celebrity fitness trainer Kris Gethin, who has been training Hrithik Roshan for more than a decade has revealed some of his fitness secrets.
Hrithik Roshan Fitness Secrets
In a recent interview, Gethin discussed Hrithik's exceptional physique, attributing it not only to genetic advantages but also emphasising the actor's unwavering discipline and dedication. Widely regarded as a 'Greek god,' Hrithik underwent rigorous training for his upcoming film, Fighter, said, Gethin.
Gethin only had nice words to say about the famous Bollywood actor. He said, “I like to work with people who are genuinely nice and authentic, and he’s definitely one of those people. He knows what works for him, what doesn’t work for him.”
Praising Hrithik's authenticity and high IQ, Gethin detailed the actor's daily schedule, and shed light on Hrithik's demanding routine:
- Hrithik Roshan wakes up early at 5 am and goes to bed by 9 pm.
- He usually has breakfast by 6 am.
- This is followed by an intense one-hour workout, typically five days a week.
- The training regimen is tailored to Hrithik's sleep quality because sleep is essential for recovery which enhances performance during workouts.
- His workout routine typically incorporates both weight training and cardio.
- Sometimes the actor does cardio twice a day and includes workouts like running, StairMaster, elliptical, and swimming.

Gethin added, “The workouts don’t take longer than an hour. It’s very short and intense, but very, very difficult. If you can train for more than an hour, you’re not training hard enough.”
Hrithik Roshan Diet
Discussing Hrithik's dietary habits during Fighter, Gethin revealed that he consumes six to seven meals a day. He said, “If he can’t eat them, he’s drinking them in the form of a shake. But it’s usually whole foods.”
Despite characterising the diet as 'boring,' Gethin commended Hrithik's chef for creatively enhancing meals, such as crafting an egg white burger with a chicken breast patty. He added, “He would add an Indianised taste to it as well, but a lot of it was single-form ingredients like chicken, egg whites, whey protein, fish, along with oats and quinoa, or rice and sweet potato.”

Gethin acknowledged that clients often aspire to emulate Hrithik's physique but emphasised the uniqueness of each individual's body and genetics. He suggested that instead of comparing yourself to Hrithik Roshan or anyone else for that matter, the prime focus should be on being your best, healthiest, and fittest self.
