Rosemary oil is another essential oil that can prevent thinning and falling of hair. Peppermint oil contains menthol, which is the ultimate cooling agent. Besides, peppermint also opens clogged pores on the scalp to promote the growth and regrowth of hair follicles. Using peppermint essential oil mixed with coconut oil can not only unclog the pores but also increase hair thickness.
Thyme oil contains antioxidants and flavonoids that decrease scalp inflammation to contribute to hair growth. Inflammation can trigger dandruff, scalp infections and hair fall. It is very important to make your scalp healthy and clean to prevent and treat hair fall. The anti-inflammatory properties of thyme oil can reduce inflammation and boost hair health.
For best results, mix two drops of thyme oil with four drops of lavender oil and three tablespoons of olive oil. Massage this concoction to your scalp and keep it for an hour. Cleanse your hair with a herbal hair cleanser.
Cedarwood has antibacterial and antifungal properties that boost blood circulation in the scalp and aid hair fall. Dandruff and flaky scalp can damage hair follicles making them weak. To strengthen the roots, massage five drops of cedarwood oil mixed with two tablespoons of coconut oil to your scalp. Do this twice a week for the best results.
