The revered priest was admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow on Sunday after suffering a stroke. His health condition remained critical throughout his treatment. In addition to the stroke, Acharya Satyendra Das had long been battling diabetes and hypertension, which further complicated his recovery process. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, he succumbed to his condition on Wednesday.

Following his passing, Acharya Satyendra Das’s mortal remains were transported to Ayodhya, where his cremation is scheduled to take place on Thursday by the sacred banks of the Saryu River.
