The 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2025 brought together students from across the country for an insightful interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Unlike previous town hall-style sessions, this year’s event was hosted in the tranquil surroundings of Sunder Nursery, where PM Modi engaged with around 35 students in a relaxed and open discussion.

The event, which was broadcast nationwide, witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 5 crore registrations, making it one of the largest student engagement initiatives in India. PM Modi covered essential topics such as exam stress management, time efficiency, self-motivation, and healthy lifestyle choices, providing students with valuable life lessons beyond academics.

Turning Exam Stress into a Positive Challenge

Many students struggle with exam-related anxiety, and PM Modi addressed this concern by offering a fresh perspective. He likened handling stress to how a cricketer faces each ball in a match—focusing on one challenge at a time instead of getting overwhelmed by the entire game.

"Every situation has a positive side—train your mind to see it. Don't let negativity take over your thoughts," he advised, urging students to develop resilience and confidence to tackle academic pressures.

Recognizing the link between health and academic performance, PM Modi emphasized the importance of a well-balanced diet, proper hydration, and sufficient rest. He highlighted how food choices impact brain function and energy levels, advising students to avoid unhealthy snacks and prioritize nutritious meals.

"A strong mind thrives in a healthy body. Be mindful of what you eat and ensure you get adequate sleep, especially before exams," he said, stressing that proper rest is just as important as studying.

Smart Time Management for Effective Studying

Addressing time management challenges, PM Modi urged students to plan their study schedules wisely. He compared exam preparation to a cricketer facing each delivery with focus, advising them to stay present and not get overwhelmed by the bigger picture.

"Manage your time efficiently, take strategic breaks, and don’t leave everything for the last minute. A well-planned approach is the key to success," he suggested, promoting a balanced and organized method of studying.

Self-Improvement Over Competition

PM Modi discouraged comparison with peers and instead urged students to focus on self-growth. He advised them to compete with their past selves rather than measuring their worth based on others' achievements.

"Your real competition is with yourself. Strive to be better than you were yesterday," he said, also reminding parents to avoid pressuring children into unrealistic expectations.

Technology: A Tool for Learning, Not Distraction

With the rise of digital distractions, PM Modi cautioned students against excessive social media consumption and advised them to use technology wisely.

"Instead of getting lost in endless scrolling, use digital platforms to enhance your knowledge and skills," he suggested, advocating for a more constructive use of technology.

Bottomline

As the event concluded, PM Modi left students with a powerful message:

"Exams are just one part of life—face them with confidence, plan your time effectively, and never let fear overshadow your curiosity for learning."

With these insightful and motivating takeaways, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 once again reinforced the importance of stress-free learning, personal growth, and a positive mindset in students' academic journeys.
