1. Frontal sinus massage

This targets the frontal sinuses which are located at the center of your forehead. Here are the steps to do this massage:

  • First, rub your hands and warm them.

  • Massage gently in a circular motion, start from the center moving to the temples.
  • Massage for around 30 seconds.

2. Ethmoid/Sphenoid sinus massage

Ethmoid sinuses are found in the ethmoid bone which separates the brain and nasal cavity. Sphenoid sinuses, on the other hand, are located in the sphenoid bone on the sides of the skull, right behind the nose and in between the eyes.

  • Put both of your index fingers on the bridge of your nose.
  • Firmly press the area between the corner of the eyes and nasal bone for about 15 seconds.
  • Now stroke in the downward direction along the sides of your nose.
  • Repeat the downward strokes for around 30 seconds.
