The following tips can help a kid meditate and find it interesting enough to exercise every day.
Listen
Invite your kid to sit on flat flooring with back straight and legs criss-crossed. Ask them to place their hands on either sides of their knees and close their eyes. Ring a bell or anything that makes a sound and ask the kid/s to use their sense of hearing to identify and explore the sound. Ask them to hear the sound and raise their hand as soon as you stop making the noise. This can help them increase their power of active listening even without the sound of the object. Gradually instruct them to listen to sounds that are close to them followed by sounds that are far away or on their wither sides. This meditation can also be tried while walking on the streets or just before going to bed.

Sing
This type of meditation involves the use of voice to sing as well as the sense of touch. Make the kid sit on flat flooring with their back straight and eyes closed. Get them to sing syllables or repeat an inspiring phrase. As they say each syllable, make them touch a different finger to their thumb. If possible, ask the kid/s to sing or whisper in their minds so that all of them have their own freedom of performing the exercise. This exercise has been proven self-soothing exercise that can be done anywhere.
Breathe
The core aspect of meditation is to breathe and concentrate on breathing, which is the easiest way of pushing away all the other issues out of the mind and dealing with just one. To monitor breathing pattern from an early age can be fruitful. While training the kid to meditate, instruct him or her to inhale and exhale five times. Make them use their fingers to count as they inhale and exhale. Ask them how they feel and whether they realise the change in their breathing as against normal breathing.

Watch

Practice
The last tip is the most important as it keeps the purpose of meditation from being wasted. For the best results, kids must meditate on a regular basis.
Parents will benefit from the above tips because then they can instil calmness in the capricious as well as agitated minds of their kids. Get going parents; teach them perseverance!
