Dr. Neeraj Dhamija is a Senior Consultant in Laparoscopic, Laser & General Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, with over 17 years of experience in surgical gastroenterology and minimally invasive surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and holds a Fellowship in GI Surgery from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, where he has built the majority of his career. He has also completed advanced robotic surgery training at IRCAD, Strasbourg, France - one of the world's leading institutes for minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Dhamija's clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of minimally invasive gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic procedures for pancreatic disorders, liver diseases, colorectal cancers, gallbladder diseases, hernias, and bariatric surgery. He is also an Assistant Professor at the Ganga Ram Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, where he actively teaches and mentors surgical residents. Beyond his clinical and academic work, Dr. Dhamija serves as Treasurer of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Delhi State Chapter (2023), and has published research in peer-reviewed journals on minimally invasive pancreatic surgery, rare surgical case reports, and enhanced recovery protocols.
