No one can be spared by gravity without an escape velocity and hence there is no exception for your breasts as well. Due to the weight of the breasts, not wearing a bra can cause more comfort to women with bigger breasts than to the ones with smaller ones. Due to the same reason not wearing a bra can result in bad posture. Not wearing a bra can lead to a sway back posture with an over arched spine and rounded shoulders. Not just this but a bad posture caused due to the weight of breasts can cause abdomen protruding. For a good posture your back should be balanced upright with your shoulders being relaxed and abdomen tucked in.

Wearing a bra can help to support the weight of your breasts and prevent your back from arching and shoulders from getting rounded. If your posture has been affected due to not wearing a bra then you can perform some posture correction exercises.

Have you ever wondered that your bra has not just been supporting your breasts but it has also been saving your neck from that extra pressure and stress that can eventually convert into pain. As large breasts are associated with bad posture and their weight can have a direct impact on your spine and neck. Your spine is something that supports your whole body and provides it with a nice structure. As the spine gets affected due to the weight of your breasts it can cause neck strain, pain in shoulders and aching back. To prevent this neck, shoulder and back ache one should wear a bra with proper support. In addition to this you can also perform some breast reduction exercises to reduce the strain being exerted on your neck and spine.

#3. Breast Pain During Exercising

Your breast requires a lot of support while carrying out any exercise such as running, jogging, jumping, doing burpees and some other physical activities that includes jumping and breast movements. This happens due to the immense movement in the breast mass which is a result of stretching of the supporting structure of the breasts which includes stretch and tension caused in the skin, and copper ligaments. This stretch and  tension can cause tenderness in breasts and in some cases can also lead to  immense pain. Apart from this the stain caused in the breast supporting tissues called cooper’s ligament can get raptured due to the strain and is irreversible as it can not be reverted back to its original position.

#4. Can cause stress in the pectoral muscles

As said, gravity has an important role to play in our lives and surely it affects the breasts too. The breasts consist of skin envelopes along with internal suspensory ligaments. These suspensory ligaments and skin envelopes are what helps to hold your breasts in an upright position. Asb there is a subtle connection in the pectoral muscles, cooper's ligament and the basal plane of the mammary glands, these three combined provide support to your breast. It is important to support these muscles in order to insure that they are not in a direct exposure to stress. As the gravity pulls the breasts downwards due to its weight, it exerts a stress upon these supportive muscles. It becomes important to wear a bra in order to ensure  that no extra stress is being exerted on these muscles and proper support is being provided to the breasts.
