When they wake up, they are mostly tired and postpone their grand plans of dieting for the next day. Unfortunately, that tomorrow never comes. But did you know that losing weight isn't as difficult as you think? All you need to do is adopt a few simple habits and incorporate them into your daily routine. So here are five daily practices you can do to speed up your weight loss game.

1. Don't Starve

When it comes to losing weight, we frequently believe that starvation is the best way to go. We starve to the point where we can go a day without eating, surviving solely on water or black coffee. But did you know that metabolism is the most important factor in weight loss? More than starving, your focus should be on increasing your metabolic rate, and the best way to increase your metabolism is to eat correctly;ideally to satiate 80% of your hunger.

2. Empty Stomach Walk

If you are serious about losing weight, the first thing you should do when you wake up is go for a walk. Walking for 20 minutes in the morning will help you set the tone for the rest of your day while also increasing your steps and burning calories. Moreover, when it comes to weight loss, an empty stomach walk is highly recommended because working out on an empty stomach causes your body to draw energy from stored fat, which aids in the loss of stubborn fat.

3. Water First

Instead of swiping through your Instagram feed and sending DMs first thing in the morning, aim to drink a glass of water first. Drinking water first thing in the morning jump-starts your system and aids in the removal of toxins. Moreover, hydration helps to boost metabolism, and if your metabolism is at its peak, no one can stop you from losing weight.

4. Daily Fruits

Fruits should be a part of your daily life, regardless of whether you want to lose or gain weight. As the saying goes, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Similarly, a ton of fruits a day keeps a multivitamin-deficit at bay. Moreover, your goal should be to consume different fruits every day, because each fruit has its own unique vitamins and minerals. Additionally, if you want to lose weight, replace your breakfast with a bowl of fruits, and you will notice a significant change in numbers within a week.

5. Focus On Detoxing

Detoxing is more than just drinking detox juices or smoothies. Instead, the true meaning of detox is to restart your system and clean it internally. In reality, the best way to detox is to fast for one day without eating and drinking anything. If fasting is not an option for you due to your hectic schedule, you can try getting enough sleep. A good night's sleep not only relaxes our bodies, but it is also during sleep that our bodies transform and grow. Lastly, you can improve the quality of your sleep by turning off your phone one hour before bed and aiming for six to eight hours of sleep per day.
