OMH Spotlight: Bigg Boss 18’s Shrutika Arjun Believes in Carrot Therapy and Ayurvedic Skincare For Glowing Skin

Shrutika Arjun stole the limelight in Bigg Boss 18 not only with her looks and personality but also by her down-to-earth, natural beauty. She is now in the OMH Spotlight and we got her to share her day-to-day skincare routine with us. Her kindness, no-nonsense attitude inspires a devotion to her clean-beauty philosophy. In a conversation with OnlyMyHealth, Shrutika explains how she manages hectic days, her company Haappy Herbs, and how carrot-based Ayurvedic skincare works as her secret weapon to radiance.

Shrutika Arjun’s Skincare Ritual 1 - 2025-08-26T152600.851

Shrutika believes in consistency over complexity. “No matter how crazy life gets, I never skip cleansing and hydrating, both during the day and as part of my night routine. For me, skincare is like brushing your teeth; it’s non-negotiable. Even in Bigg Boss, with all the sleepless nights and stress, I made sure to take those two minutes to cleanse my face and apply night cream before hitting the bed. That’s what really keeps the glow consistent.” Her message is clear: skincare needn’t be complicated. A simple, steady ritual makes the real difference.

Shrutika’s brand took flight from something unexpected. “It wasn’t a business plan. It was born out of curiosity. People kept asking, ‘What do you use on your skin?’ I was using homemade products and sharing tiny amounts from my own dabba. When people came back asking for more, I realised there was something there. That’s when we decided to build Haappy Herbs. Raw, real feedback, not paid promotions, is what motivated us.” Haappy Herbs grew organically, from real love and demand, not strategic planning.

Shrutika’s mantra is purity plus simplicity. “Two things: never sleep with makeup on, and keep it simple. My skin thrives on natural formulations. I haven’t taken any supplements either. I also avoid layering ten different products, who has time for that these days?” That’s why Haappy Herbs focuses on single-press herb extracts.

“They’re highly concentrated, extremely pure, and show immediate results like magic while keeping you guilt-free. A good cleanse, Ashwagandha & Tender Coconut or Ujjvala Moisturiser during the day, and a night cream, Carrot Therapy and The Secret Cream, that removes tan and brightens. Plus, lots of water and good sleep, that’s my survival kit, whether it’s studio lights or reality TV chaos.”

Her answer shows her Ayurvedic soul. “Carrots! I’m obsessed with our Carrot Therapy Night Cream. It’s my secret weapon after shoots, especially when I’m tanned. Within five days, it brings my skin back to life. Carrot extract is a powerhouse for skin repair and glow. For me, it’s non-negotiable. Also, my Ujjvala Day Moisturiser, a moisturiser is basic magic for anti-ageing!” Carrots carry the glow through gentle yet potent Ayurvedic care.

Why Did She Transition from User to Brand Founder?2 - 2025-08-26T152556.958

Shrutika remains her own toughest critic. “The leap wasn’t calculated, and it just happened because people genuinely loved what I was already using. I was the first consumer. I still use everything before it hits the market.”

Explaining about her brand, she mentioned, “Our products are natural and highly concentrated. If it suits you, it really suits you. If not, you’ll know it immediately.” She adds, “People can see through product promotions. Many influencers don’t actually use what they advertise. When you genuinely use a product, then promote it, it hits differently.”

Shrutika calls for transparency and reality. “Transparency is still missing. People assume it’s just makeup or genes. But skincare is a discipline. It’s about consistency, hydration, eating right, and listening to your skin. It’s important to show it’s not always perfect. It’s okay to have texture, tan, or a bad day,” she added.

Absolutely. For Shrutika, it’s a moment of calm. “When everything else feels out of control, those five minutes of applying cream become almost meditative. It’s self-care in the simplest, purest form.”

How Does She Bounce Back from Dull Skin?

Resilience, routine, and realistic cheer. The Bigg Boss 18 contestant adds, “A bad skin day means dull or overtired skin. I don’t panic as it’s temporary. Alternate with Carrot Therapy. For the day, it's Ujjvala Moisturiser, or Ashwagandha and Tender Coconut in summer. And lots of hydration. And I don’t let it shake my confidence. Glowing skin is as much about how you feel as what you apply.” She brings Indian Ayurveda into the spotlight. Shrutika says, “Our roots are incredibly rich. Once you identify them, you’ll be amazed by their benefits.”
