Side Effects and Precautions

allergy

While Brahmi oil offers numerous benefits, it's essential to use it with caution and be aware of potential side effects:

Allergic Reactions

Some individuals may be allergic to Brahmi oil. Dr Chaudhary suggested doing a patch test before applying it to your scalp or skin. Apply a small amount of diluted Brahmi oil to a small area and wait for 24 hours to check for any adverse reactions.

Oily Hair

Brahmi oil is rich and may be difficult to wash out for individuals with oily hair. If you have oily hair, consider using Brahmi oil sparingly or diluting it with a lighter carrier oil.

Consultation

Dr Chaudhary said, "If you are pregnant, nursing, or have any underlying medical conditions, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before using Brahmi oil, as it may interact with medications or have contraindications."
