Omicron + Delta Variant Found In 7 States, Know Details Here

Many countries are on the verge of getting the fourth wave of COVID-19 virus and are reporting thousands of cases on daily basis. India has yet everything under control but WHO has warned India to take precautions against the fourth COVID wave. It is being suggested that fourth COVID wave could be a mix of sub-lineage BA.02 of Omicron variant or the mixture of Delta and Omicron variant put together. Deltacron is the term which has been used a number of times to name this strain of corona virus. India has also reported certain cases of Delta + Omicron in 7 of its state which is quite threatening. Omicron Plus Delta Variant COVID-19

According to evidence found on omicron and delta variant, the combination of this virus was found a few months back in India. However, there was no particular upsurge of this variant and it was majorly omicron that brought the third wave of corona virus. The COVID Genomics Consortium (INSACOG) and GSAID indicate that there are 568 cases that are under scanner right now. This might be very frightening because deltacron variant of COVID-19 could break your immunity of vaccination and can be threatening otherwise as well. If fourth wave of COVID-19 occurs of Delta and omicron combination, then it can bring the fatality rate high up.

Omicron + Delta Cases in India

As per a report by Telangana Today, Karnataka remains the hotspot of this variant with some 221 cases so far of combined variant. Then comes Tamil Nadu with 90 cases, 66 in Maharashtra, 33 in Gujarat, 32 in West Bengal, 25 in Telangana and 20 cases in New Delhi. According to World Health Organisation, this combined variant can spread at an intense rate than it has been expected. Symptoms of Deltacron Variant of COVID-19 strain

The symptoms of this combined strain of omicron and delta have been according to NHS UK. It can have the following variants according to monitoring of cases till now-

1. High temperature- People are complaining of having high temperature in which their chest and back particularly are very hot.

2. Continuous Cough- It is a little different to what it used to happen in other COVID variants. This continuous cough is defined as coughing for more than hour continuously. You may also have 3 or more continuous coughing episodes.

3. Loss or change in the sense of smell and taste- In the previous variant, especially delta, there was no taste and smell. But in this variant either you cannot smell or taste things, or it might be possible that you may get a different taste as well.
