Booster Vaccine Dose For 60 years old and Above
There was a lot of talk about booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Earlier there was a condition of co-morbidity, that means those who were more vulnerable were getting booster vaccination dose. But now the government has removed this policy and now everyone over the age of 60 years can get booster shot of COVID-19 at their nearest COVID vaccination centers. However, you can only get the vaccine if there has been 9 months or more after getting your second COVID-shot.
This can further reduce the risk of spreading of COVID-19 and the possibility of returning to normal situations might also increase. In past 24 hours, India has recorded around 2500 new cases of COVID-19 which is the lowest in last 2 years. This is a big relief after 3 big hits of COVID-19 virus in India.
