This is one of the first and most important steps suggested by Ayurveda. Standing and drinking is a bad habit that you should stop doing right now! In fact, you must not even eat in the standing position as it bad for your stomach and digestion. As per Dr. Prabhat Ranjan Sinha, Consultant, Internal Medicine, Aakash Healthcare Super Speciality Hospital, Dwarka, Delhi, drinking in incorrect posture directly hampers the internal processes which disturb the fluid balance thereby increasing toxicity levels in the body.
