Allergy to Medication
Though medications are given to treat you for a diagnosed disorder, there are chances that some medications, particularly antibiotics like penicillin, can do more harm than good. These medications could trigger a reaction and cause pain to the joint.
Gout is a condition which occurs when the uric acid builds up in the body and forms crystals that cause inflammation in the joints. Usually patients suffer from gout in the big toe but that is only the place where it first occurs. It can also develop in other parts of the body.

However, if you suffer from sarcoidosis, which is an inflammatory condition, your immune cells start forming clusters in different organs eventually causing symptoms like fever, fatigue and wheezing. A 2010 study also claimed that one-quarter of sufferers also experience a kind of sarcoidosis arthritis, also known as joint pain.
This condition which affects women more than men and can be triggered by many things, including stress. It is an inflammatory response in the central nervous system which sends signals of pain in the body. In MRI scans taken for a study, the brain could be seen overreacting to sensory cues and responding with discomfort.
Although the chances of bone cancer are very slim, you can’t ignore the fact that you could develop it. Pain in the bone is a classic symptom of bone cancer. It worsens at night time or when you are active. The symptoms are similar to that of arthritis and so you should not fear the worst. If you feel the pain for more than two weeks, consulting a doctor will be a wise option.
