As recent research by scientists reported that most of the youth over the age of twenty are getting only 5 hours of sleep on average nowadays, which can be dangerous for their health in the long run. What does the research say?
This research was done on 15 people who used to sleep 5 hours daily. All of them were around 20 years of age. Scientists found that the amount of triglyceride-containing lipoproteins in the blood of all of these people increased significantly due to frequent poor sleep, causing dangerous fatty plaques to accumulate in their arteries. This research has been published in the Journal of Lipid Research.
