According to our expert, Varnit Yadav, Nutrition, Exercise, and Fitness Expert and Trainer, from Lucknow, the key to losing fat is much easier than most of us truly understand, and it isn’t something that needs to happen in the gym or with supplements.

Today, in the rush to get shortcuts to success, Varnit asked for getting back to basics, making habits that are sustainable, effective, and scientific.

What is the Fastest Way To Burn Fat Before 2025 Ends?

“It may sound too simple but one of the quickest ways to lose fat is to walk. Walking is often underestimated because it doesn’t look intense, but it is one of the most accessible and sustainable forms of physical activity,” shared Varnit.

Walking helps the body stay in a calorie-burning mode without being too taxing on the joints and the nervous system. It is also known to have several other benefits, including improved glycemic control, an increase in energy, and improved mood, which are indirect aids in weight loss. Additionally, unlike intense workouts, walking can be done anywhere and at anytime.

Varnit recommended walking whenever one has the chance, whether it is short walks after meals, using the stairs instead of the elevator, or even pacing during phone calls. As he put it, “Our body craves movement. It has a need for movement, and walking satisfies that basic need. However, walking by itself is not sufficient, it should always be accompanied by mindful eating.”

In simpler words, losing fat is a matter of how effectively one can manage their nutritional practices.

“There's no detox, quick fixes when it comes to losing weight or fat,” he warned against detox diets, rapid calorie reduction, and gimmicks. “Rather, cut down the size of the food that you are eating now, instead of adopting an entirely new diet in one night,” he advised.

This way is simpler to maintain and promotes a better adaptation because it does not involve strong desire or tiredness.

The Real (and Effective) Fat-loss Formula

One of the most practical tips Varnit shared is focusing on satiety, not calorie counting. “Your stomach cannot count calories but it understands fullness,” he explained. Additionally, add protein to at least two main meals a day to keep hunger under control. Protein is essential in the retention of muscle mass while reducing weight and reduces appetite by keeping one full for a long time. Lastly, incorporate vegetables and fruits in daily meals as it fulfills the requirement of fibre, further helping in proper digestion and overcoming mindless eating.

“If the foods being consumed are nutritious and filling, the body will automatically cut out any extra cravings for food, and losing fat will become much simpler,” he concluded.

Bottomline

The quickest and most efficient method of losing fat before the end of 2025 is not a quick fix, it's walking and healthy eating.
