  • You will need 1 teaspoon grated ginger root, 1 teaspoon honey, 2 cloves, 1-inch piece, cinnamon bark, and a 3-inch strip of orange peel.
  • Bring a cup of water to a boil in a separate pot.
  • After that, put all of the ingredients to the boiling water.
  • Reduce the heat to low and steep for about fifteen minutes. 
  • Your ginger tea is ready.

2. Lemon and Pepper Tea

This particular is an excellent drink for boosting immunity. It is also said to be beneficial for detoxifying the body and alleviating achy joint symptoms in arthritis sufferers. However, if you are allergic to citrusy fruits in winters, avoid its consumption and try ginger honey tea instead.

  • To make this tea, you will need 1 lemon juice, a half teaspoon of turmeric powder, a quarter teaspoon of pepper and 1 1/2 tablespoons honey.
  • Fill the cup halfway with hot water and add the pepper and turmeric.
  • Once you're done, add the lemon juice and honey.
  • Drink this hot as then only you would be able to reap its benefits.

3. Tulsi tea

Also known as holy basil, tulsi is a wonderful herb with mentions in Ayurveda. It not only boosts your immunity and fights infections, but it also aids in the healing of a variety of skin conditions. It also helps with diabetics, assisting in blood sugar homeostasis.

  • For this, you will need 1 tsp honey, 2 tsp lemon juice, 1/4 cup basil.
  • In a saucepan, combine the basil leaves with one and a quarter cups of water.
  • Bring the water to a boil and after that, reduce the heat to low for 15 minutes.
  • Strain into a cup and whisk in the honey and lemon juice.
