Dr Manmohan Singh, one of India’s most respected statesmen and former Prime Minister, passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 92. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, confirmed his demise due to age-related ailments.

Dr. Singh experienced a sudden loss of consciousness at his residence on the evening of December 26. Immediate medical attention was provided at home before he was rushed to AIIMS at 8:06 PM. Despite exhaustive resuscitation efforts, he was declared dead at 9:51 PM. His passing marks the end of a remarkable journey that shaped India’s economic and political landscape.
