We all have enjoyed sipping iced teas in the hot summer sun but as winters are approaching, cold beverages will get replaced by coffee, hot chocolates, etc. As we have a little time in between, let’s have a final sip of these refreshing teas. Diwali is the perfect occasion to serve these to your guests. These are healthy alternatives to cold drinks and other aerated beverages. Here are some easy flavored iced tea recipes for you to try out.

Basic Iced Tea Recipe

  • Take a pan and put tea bags in it.
  • Pour boiling water over them and cover it with a lid for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags.
  • Add sugar and mix it well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a large jug.
  • Now add cold water and ice to it.

Raspberry Iced Tea Recipe

  • Raspberries (Fresh or frozen)
  • 4 cups brewed tea
  • 4 cups of water
  • 3/4 cup sugar 

Iced tea

In a large saucepan, add raspberries and place it on medium heat.

Stir occasionally until cooked.

Strain the liquid in a bowl.

Add sugar to and brewed tea to it. Mix well.

Now add cold water and ice to it.

You may add raspberry juice to enhance the flavor.

Pour in the serving jug and serve chilled to guests. You can put it in the fridge if you want to save it for later use.

Orange Iced Tea Recipe

  • 1 sliced orange
  • 2-3 cups brewed tea
  • 4 cups of sugar
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla essence
  • Pinch of cinnamon powder

Iced tea

In a large jug or pitcher, add sliced oranges, cinnamon and vanilla essence.

Pour the brewed tea in the jug.

Add sugar and mix well.

Now add cold water and ice to it.

Serve chilled.

Blueberry Iced Tea Recipe

  • Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 4 cups of water
  • 4 cups brewed tea
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice

In a large saucepan, add blueberries and lemon juice and place it on medium heat.

Stir occasionally until cooked.

Strain the liquid in a bowl.

Add sugar to and brewed tea to it. Mix well.

Now add cold water and ice to it.

Pour in the serving jug and serve chilled to guests. You can put it in the fridge if you want to save it for later use.

Strawberry Iced Tea Recipe

  • Strawberries (Fresh or frozen)
  • 3 cups brewed tea
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 cups sugar

Iced tea

In a saucepan, add strawberries and cook them on a medium flame for 10-15 minutes.

Stir occasionally until cooked.

Strain the liquid in a bowl.

Add sugar to and brewed tea to it. Mix well.

Now add cold water and ice to it.

Blackberry Iced Tea Recipe

  • Blackberries (Fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup crushed mint leaves
  • 4 cups brewed tea
  • 2 cups of sugar

Brew tea and add crushed mint leaves to it.

Add sugar to and mix well.

Make blackberry puree and add it to the brewed tea mix.

Strain well to discard the seeds.

Transfer in a jug and pour cold water and ice.

Serve chilled.
