We all know that we get many nutrients like calcium, protein, potassium, phosphorus, vitamin A, D and B12 from the consumption of such dairy products. Consumption of milk is very beneficial for every age person. A man continues to consume milk from the time he is born to his old age. Do you know that milk and curd are never eaten together? Yoghurt is a fermented product and hence should not be consumed with milk as it would block the roots or channels of the body and result in tummy problems, infections, and ill-health. Also, do not consume milk or curd before or after eating citrus fruits or drinking their juice.

Side-effects of milk consumption

According to Dr Swati Bathwal, consuming milk may cause digestive problems for some people. The reason for this is the lactose present in milk. Drinking milk may cause (stomach issues) gas, diarrhoea, or vomiting. Many people drink milk on an empty stomach, and hence their digestion worsens. Therefore, people whose digestive system is weak should stay away from milk.  The casein protein present in milk also causes problems in some people. In particular, some children are unable to digest milk due to casein. In some cases, consumption of milk causes pimples on the face. Benefits of consuming curd/yoghurt

Yoghurt provides a cooling effect on your body (that is, its consumption gives such effect). Therefore, people who tend to catch cold and fever, they should avoid curd. Yoghurt causes sore throats in many people (if consumed at dinner). Yoghurt is especially harmful to those who have joint pain or arthritis. These people are advised not to eat chilled yoghurt (kept in the fridge). One should avoid eating sugar mixed in yoghurt, as it increases obesity.
