COVID Vaccine Second Dry Run To Be Conducted On January 8 Across India

COVID vaccine dry run: The corona vaccine's dry run will take place on 8 January in all districts of the country. This is the second time that a dry run of the vaccine will be done in the country. Earlier on January 2, the dry run took place. On January 3, DCGI gave the emergency approval to use two Corona vaccines in the country, Bharat Biotech's 'Covaxin' and Oxford's 'Covishield'. The Health Ministry has said that vaccination will be started across the country within ten days. In Punjab, Assam, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh, good results were revealed regarding the dry run, after which the government decided to implement the dry run across the country. On the other hand, the Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan will hold a meeting with the states' health ministers today.

Before the COVID-19 immunisation across the country, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan will meet all union territories and states' health ministers today. Dr Harsh Vardhan will take information about the preparations of the state government regarding vaccine distribution. This meeting will take place today through video conferencing at 12.30 PM. The necessary practices for vaccination will be reviewed in this meeting.

Corona vaccine dry run in Varanasi

Corona vaccination dry run continues in 75 districts of UP. The dry run of vaccination in Varanasi has exposed the claims and preparations of the Health Department. A dry run of corona vaccine is being conducted at six centres in the district since Tuesday in Varanasi. There will be a dry run from 10 am to 3 am. It has been trialled in three urban area community health centres and the District Women's Hospital, Community Health Center Shivpur and Private Hospital Heritage in the metropolitan area.

The first two-day dry run of the vaccine was carried out in 2 districts of four states. After this, a dry run was done in every state capital. The Health Ministry has said that the vaccine may roll out ten days after the approval.  The dry run of the vaccine done in different states of the country has been successful.
