Coronavirus New Study: Even if 70% of the people wore masks, COVID-19 epidemic would have been under control.
How can COVID-19 infection be prevented? This has always been a question since the deadly virus arrived in our country! How could one prevent from becoming a victim of this epidemic? Don't worry as this question has been answered by scientists all over the world! It was also told (and still being told), but some people do not take it seriously, due to which the infection is spreading rapidly. By the way, wearing masks has been described as the most effective way to prevent corona. A recent study said that if 70 per cent of the people also wore masks continuously, the corona epidemic could have been prevented from taking a macabre form.
Research published in the journal 'Physics of Fluids'
- COVID-19 infection could be prevented on a large scale if the people follow this rule consistently. According to this study, highly effective face masks, such as surgical masks (with an estimated efficacy of about 70 per cent), could have been reduced by 70 per cent of people in public places, (reducing the outbreak of this global epidemic). The study also said that frequent covering of the mouth with everyday clothes could reduce the rate of infection.
- The study, published in the journal Physics of Fluids, assessed studies conducted on 'face masks' and looked at whether these reduce the number of times an infected person infects other people. According to reports, the researchers of this study also included Sanjay Kumar of 'National University of Singapore'.
What is the current situation of coronavirus?
At present, cases of infection are spreading rapidly, including India. The rate of virus can be reduced if people still become cautious and strictly follow the rules of protection from COVID-19. Measures to prevent corona include wearing masks, washing hands with soap and water (from time to time), keeping a social distance, not needlessly leaving the house.
