Ayesha Khan’s Collapse Inside BB17 House Highlights The Toll Of Unrequited Love And Emotional Breakdown

In a recent episode of Bigg Boss 17, contestant Ayesha Khan had to be rushed to the medical room after she broke down following Salman Khan’s statements about her intentions to enter the game. Ayesha Khan entered the house claiming to expose fellow contestant Munawar Faruqui for approaching her despite being in a relationship with social media influencer Nazilla Sitaishi.

Following Salman Khan’s comments claiming that she had used Faruqui as a guise to push her agenda of gaining fame, Ayesha could be seen crying uncontrollably in the corner. She was then rushed to the medical room after she collapsed, and the doctor shared that she had dangerously low Blood Pressure (BP).

Since she entered the BB17 house, Ayesha has had a rollercoaster journey, with multiple collapses due to low blood pressure. However, her recent collapse has highlighted the perils of troubled romantic relationships and the toll it can take on someone’s mental and physical health.

If you are also facing similar troubles, or know someone who is struggling to manage relationship-induced anxiety and panic, here are a few tips to keep your mental and physical health in check in the long run.

Acknowledge Your Feelings

It's crucial to recognise and accept your emotions. Allow yourself to feel and process the pain, sadness, or anger associated with the relationship challenges. Ignoring or suppressing these feelings can exacerbate emotional breakdowns.

Seek Support

Reach out to friends, family, or a therapist to share your thoughts and feelings. Having a support system can provide valuable perspectives, comfort, and encouragement during difficult times. Burying your feelings and experiences can isolate you and make the burden feel heavier than it is.

Establish Boundaries

Set clear boundaries to protect your emotional well-being. Learn to recognise disrespect and to walk away from it to protect your peace. This may involve limiting contact with your partner, taking a break, or establishing guidelines for communication. Boundaries are essential for creating space to heal.

Pay attention to your physical and mental health by engaging in self-care practices. Exercise, adequate sleep, and nutritious meals contribute to overall well-being and can positively impact your ability to cope with emotional distress.

Set Realistic Expectations

Understand that healing from a troubled relationship takes time. Set realistic expectations for your progress and avoid putting unnecessary pressure on yourself to ‘move on’ quickly.

Focus on Personal Growth

Channel your energy into personal development. Explore hobbies, pursue passions, or take up activities that bring you joy and a sense of accomplishment. Rediscovering your identity can be empowering.

Professional Guidance

If the emotional breakdown persists, seeking professional help is a proactive step. A therapist can provide tailored strategies to cope with emotional distress and guide you through the healing process.
