A recent study in Taiwan has revealed that more men than women are at risk from the coronavirus. This study also reported differences in current corona disease or COVID-19 and 2003 SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) disease. In 2003, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome was spread in Hubei Province, China, in which 774 people from China and Hong Kong were killed, a mutation of the coronavirus causes the first case of SARS. The new virus was named SARS-Co V. It is believed that the virus called SARS-Co V-2 is the cause of the current COVID-19 epidemic.
The report, published in The Travel Medicine and Infections, explains the cause of the coronavirus, the research said that had been reported in Taiwan from 31 January and that SARS patients had lived here from 25 April to 19 May 2003. This study has found that women are more affected by this SARS disease (ratio of male to female is 0.52: 1 than men.
