According to Ayurveda, everyone has three doshas in their body: vata, pitta, and kapha. Any imbalance in these three doshas might result in sickness.

Jwara roga is the Ayurvedic name for fever. This is produced mainly by an imbalance in the vata and kapha doshas. An imbalance in kapha can create cold symptoms, whereas excess vata can bring chills, lethargy, poor digestion, and body pains.

In an interaction with OnlyMyHealth editorial team, Dr Ganesh Chaudhary from Manigacchi, Bihar, shared some ayurvedic tips to cure fever.
