3rd Edition of HealthCare Heroes Awards 2023

Ayurveda is a holistic health system that has been around us for thousands of years. It is based on the ancient Indian practice of using natural herbs and foods to heal the body and balancing the three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Vata dosha is believed to be related to air and space, Pitta dosha is associated with fire and water, and Kapha is related to earth and water. Vata governs movement, Pitta directs metabolism, and Kapha controls bodily assimilation.

According to Ayurveda, when the body is in balance, it is best prepared to absorb the nutrients it requires for health and wellness.

In an interaction with OnlyMyHealth editorial team, Dr Ganesh Chaudhary, Medical Officer at Primary Health Centre, Manigachhi, Bihar, explained how to use these to gain weight.
