Eating three to four tulsi leaves everyday will help you avoid a variety of respiratory ailments such as infections, sinusitis, coughing, and colds. It is not only a powerful immunomodulator, but it is also useful in the treatment of asthma and bronchitis and has strong antiviral characteristics.


Triphala is the standard used in herbal preparation that can be gargled. Many ayurvedic practitioners use it in their daily life to combat problem causing agents in the throat area.

Sesame Oil

Sesame oil is excellent for cleaning the lungs. Just place two drops of oil in each nostril, this procedure is called Nayasa in ayurveda. The drops will clean your nasal passage.


Honey has a pleasant taste and can be consumed on a daily basis. It aids in lung cleansing due to its numerous benefits such as antioxidants, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory qualities. It has a pleasant taste on the tongue.
