We all know that there are many changes that a woman goes through in her life. They often overlook their health which can lead to many health conditions, including cancer. It is normal to experience pain or various changes in the body. However, if you notice abnormal changes or pain that persists for weeks, you should get it checked immediately. Some early cancer symptoms are unexplained weight loss, abnormal bleeding, constant fatigue, bowel changes, etc. Cervical cancer and ovarian cancer are the most common cancer found in women.

Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding

You should get checked by a doctor if you experience abnormal vaginal bleeding, as it may be a sign of endometrial cancer. In addition, if you have bleeding between periods or bleeding during sex, it may be a sign of cervical or vaginal cancer.

Constant Fatigue

Do you feel tired or weak most of the time? It is normal to feel tired once in a while which usually goes away after rest. However, you should immediately visit a doctor if you still feel fatigued, and it affects your daily activities. It can be a sign of early cancer as it uses your nutrients, which may leave you tired every time.

Unexplained Weight Loss

A healthy diet and regular exercise play a significant role in reducing weight. However, if you have been losing too many pounds without any change in your diet or daily activities, it may be a cause of concern. This is because cancer can make you lose weight.

Bowel Changes

If you experience bowel changes, it can be a sign of colorectal cancer as it affects your rectum and colon. You should visit your doctor if you witness frequent bowel changes or experience symptoms like diarrhoea, constipation, cramps, etc. 

Changes in Breast

Swollen breasts, breast or nipple pain, nipple discharge, and lumps in the breast or armpit are some of the symptoms that may indicate serious health issues like cancer. You should get yourself checked at the earliest.

Skin Changes

If you see any lesions, new moles, an increase in the size of moles, or a change in the colour of the existing moles, it may be a sign of melanoma cancer. You should check your toes, scalp, and every area of the skin and get yourself regularly checked.

Pelvic And Abdominal Pain

It is normal to experience pelvic or abdominal pain due to bloating or menstruation. However, you should visit your doctor if the pain persists for weeks, as it may be a sign of ovarian cancer.

Loss Of Appetite

Another symptom of cancer that you should look out for is loss of appetite. Your stomach may be compressed by tumours in or near your digestive tract, which affects your appetite.

Persistent Cough

You might get a cough due to a cold or asthma, but a chronic cough may be a symptom of lung cancer. It can also worsen with time and cause you to cough up blood.
