According to recent reports, Swaraj Kaushal died due to complications related to a long-standing illness. His health had been deteriorating for some time, and he had been receiving regular medical care. Swaraj’s last moments were spent under medical care at AIIMS hospital in Delhi after he developed chest pain, prompting immediate hospitalisation. 

While the family has not shared a detailed medical statement, the announcement confirms that his passing was peaceful. Over the years, Kaushal had stepped back from public appearances after Sushma Swaraj’s death in 2019, though he continued to connect with people digitally.
