Post-workout hair care is equally important as post-workout skincare. Here are some tips that every gym-goer should follow.
After hours of sweating in the gym, your hair concerns may increase. Most people take care of the skin while working out, but they do not pay much attention to the hair. So apart from taking care of your skin, you also need to make sure that your workouts do not cause damage to your hair. In the absence of a proper post-workout hair care routine, problems like dandruff, scalp itching, etc. might crop up. This is also because when you work outside, you sweat a lot which causes the pores to close. Keeping the hair clean is a must. Follow a simple post-workout hair care routine for healthy hair.
Tip #1 Wash your hair after a workout
As we mentioned earlier, when you sweat, it messes up your hair. So, you always need to stay fresh after a workout. For this, first, take a good bath and then wash your hair. Do this at least three times a week. But try not to wash your hair every day as it will lead to adverse results. Most shampoos contain chemicals and it is not advisable to wash your hair every day. If your hair is dry, you can also wash it 2 times a week.
Tip #2 Wash your hair with water
If you feel that washing your hair twice or thrice a week is not helping, you may wash your hair regularly but don’t use shampoo. Go under the shower and wash your hair thoroughly. This will clean your hair and you will not have to worry about the chemicals present in the shampoo. This is also a good thing because when you let sweat stay in your head, it weakens the hair follicles. It may also weaken the roots. So you can run your work by washing your hair with water even after daily workouts. This way, washing it with water will be good for your hair health.

Tip #3 Only use conditioner
It is also called co-washing. During this time you have to take the conditioner directly and wash your hair by applying it like shampoo. This will ensure that your shampoo does not snatch the natural oil from your hair. Nevertheless, the conditioner will clean and nourish your hair. At the same time, you can avoid the trouble of washing your hair repeatedly. If you wash your hair every day in this way, then your hair will not suffer the same damage as washing your hair with shampoo again and again.

Tip #4 Dry shampoo may also help
This can help you revive your sweat and oily hair. With this, you will not have to go in the shower for this. In this case, after work out, spray some dry shampoo on your hair, spread it and clean your hair. In this way, if you keep your hair clean with the help of all these things, your hair will always be healthy. There will also be no problem with dandruff etc. due to lack of sweat.
