Onlymyhealth presents the 'Diabetes Free India' Campaign, an initiative by the Sehatclub community, aimed at raising awareness and providing effective management strategies for diabetes. With diabetes reaching epidemic proportions in India, affecting over 100 million people, this campaign seeks to address the important need for early intervention and education in managing this chronic condition.
The Diabetes Epidemic in India
Reports reveal a staggering statistic of over 100 million people grappling with diabetes in India, with a concerning 70 percent unaware of their condition. This lack of awareness often leads to complications when the disease is discovered due to other medical reasons, underscoring the urgent need for proactive measures and education. Our event happened on 16th March, between 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Green View Apartment, Sector 99, Noida. BeatO was the free screening partner.
