Korean Actor Lee Moon Soo Passes Away At 76 Due To Lung Cancer

The Korean cinema world is mourning the loss of senior actor Lee Moon Soo. The K-drama actor was 76 at the time of his demise. He was last seen in Coupong Play’s drama Unicorn (2022). It was directed by Kim Hye-Young. The drama also starred Shin Ha Kyun, Won Jin Ah, Lee You Jin, Bae Yoon Kyoung, and Kim Wook, among others. Korean Actor Lee Moon Soo’s Cause Of Death

According to the Korean Actors' Association, Lee Moon Soo died on the afternoon of November 28. He was admitted at a hospital in Yangpyeong County, Gyeonggi, South Korea. The actor was receiving treatment after he was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2022.

As per reports, Soo’s funeral will be conducted at the Hanyang University Hospital Funeral Hall, Seoul, at 8:20 am KST on December 1. The veteran actor will be put to rest at the burial site in Eden Memorial Park.

Who Was Lee Moon Soo?

Lee Moon Soo was working as a public servant earlier in his life. But his dream to act on screen led him to the Seoul Institute of the Arts. He started his acting career thereafter. The actor was active on stage in numerous plays such as Late Blossom, Nineteen Eighty-Four, The Lookout, and Death of a Salesman. Soo left a strong impression with dramas such as Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, The Beauty Inside, Navillera, and in films like Guns & Talks and Going by the Book.

Soo was appreciated and loved for his roles in the drama Signal and in the film Hello Ghost.

In addition to these , Lee Moon Soo also appeared in K-dramas such as Rookie Cops (Kang Daniel Chae Soo Bin), Ghost Doctor (Rain, Kim Beom), School 2021 (Kim Yo Han, Choo Young Woo), Navillera (Song Kang), and Goblin aka Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook), among others.
