“I grew up as a Girl in a Difficult Household,” Jaya Remarks

Jaya also recalled how gender bias made things worse in her life by describing being a girl born in such an environment as “the biggest misfortune.” She elaborated on how social expectations, coupled with tension at home, made life in her childhood much more difficult.

In fact, her career wasn't her own decision but a forced one. When the interviewer asked how her acting journey began, Jaya shared that she was not encouraged, but rather forced into it. Back then, Jaya was trained in music and dance, and she said that she wasn't prepared to act.
