Debnath warned that walking with a slouched or rounded posture can result in decreased abdominal muscle engagement and hinder their development. By consciously maintaining an upright position, pulling your belly button towards your spine, and keeping your shoulders back, you can activate your core and encourage improved postural alignment, he added.

Walking is an excellent cardiovascular exercise that improves heart health and boosts endurance. Regular walks speed up metabolism, raise heart rate, and encourage fat-burning all day long, according to Debnath.
