Fruits and milk are highly nutritious, however, consuming them in the right manner is very important. Food combinations that do not go well can cause various health problems like bloating, stomach ache, fatigue, and gas. It can also have a long-term effect on your health and cause chronic digestion problems and rashes. Read this article to know why you should avoid consuming milk and yoghurt with fruits, and also learn what other food combinations should be avoided.

Why You Need To Avoid Milk & Yoghurt With Fruits

When you mix these two foods, they can harm your gut lining and lead to accumulated undigested waste in your body. These substances get leaked into the bloodstream, causing skin disorders as they gather under the skin.

Milk is an animal protein and should not be mixed with other proteins. When fruits such as bananas, strawberries, pineapple, limes, and oranges are digested, they produce heat. On the other hand, milk acts as a coolant. These fruits become sour when they are broken down in the stomach. This affects your gut health and can lead to health conditions such as cold and cough.

It is better to avoid bananas with milk as it is heavy and will take a longer time to digest, and may cause fatigue. The post-digestive effect of bananas and milk combined will be sour, so they should not be eaten together.
