The first positive case of novel coronavirus is found in Kerala where a student returned from Wuhan city of China tested positive for this virus.
The deadly coronavirus has now reached India. The first case of novel coronavirus is identified in Kerala, as confirmed by the government. The patient is a student who studies at Wuhan University, China and recently flew to India. After noticing some symptoms, he was admitted to the hospital and tested positive for the deadly coronavirus. The epidemic started from China and Wuhan city, from where this student came is the epicenter of this life-threatening virus.
As told by the press information bureau, the patient is stable and it kept in isolation. All the necessary steps are being taken to prevent this virus from standing. The medical team is monitoring the patient and trying their best for his healthy recovery.
This virus originated in China and has gripped Japan, Thailand, America and now India. The first positive case of this virus was confirmed in China in December 2019. This virus is now rapidly reaching the other countries with travelers. In India, over 800 people who recently returned from China are screened for this virus. A few of them are kept in isolation in different hospitals suspecting exposure to novel coronavirus.
Wuhan city, the epicenter of coronavirus is one of the highly populated cities of China with over 11 million residents, has been put on lockdown. The Government of India is in talks with Chinese authorities seeking permission to operate flights from Hubei province capital to bring the Indians stranded in China safely. The evacuation consent forms are available online so that Indians stranded in Wuhan can apply and the fly back to the country.
