Dr. Lavanya Kiran is a distinguished Director and Lead Consultant in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Robotics, Regenerative Medicine, Cosmetic Gynaecology, and Fertility at KIMS Hospitals, Electronic City, Bengaluru, with over 23 years of clinical experience. She completed her MBBS from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru, and her MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bengaluru. She has further enriched her expertise through an exceptionally broad portfolio of international and national fellowships and training programmes - including a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from Dr. Patil's Fertility and Endoscopy Hospital (RGUHS), a Diploma in Reproductive Medicine from Germany, a Fellowship in Regenerative and Cosmetic Gynaecology from Israel (IASRM), training in Oocyte Tissue Cryopreservation from Denmark, training in Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine from the Romanian Society, and Robotic Surgery training (Intuitive Da Vinci) from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. She also holds a PGDMLE from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, and an MBA in Hospital Management - combining clinical excellence with legal and administrative acumen. Dr. Lavanya Kiran's clinical practice spans the full breadth of advanced women's healthcare, encompassing reproductive medicine and fertility preservation, robotic and laparoscopic gynaecological surgery, regenerative and cosmetic gynaecology, stem cell therapy and ovarian rejuvenation, high-risk pregnancy and maternal-fetal medicine, fertility-sparing surgeries, oncofertility, and adolescent and menopausal health. She also serves as Clinical Director of KIMS-Lakshya Fertility Centre and has previously held senior consultant positions at Kauvery Hospitals, Cloudnine Hospitals, and Narayana Health Hospitals, Bengaluru. She is a DNB Guide and Mentor with 8 years of postgraduate teaching experience and serves as a Proctor and Mentor for Robotic Surgery in Gynaecology. A globally recognised leader in her field, Dr. Lavanya Kiran currently serves as President of the Karnataka Chapter of ISAR (KISAR) (2025–2027), Vice President of the Indian Association of Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine (IASRM) (2025–2027), and Joint Secretary of the Fertility Preservation Society of India. She is a Founder Member of the Karnataka Chapter of the Indian Fertility Society (IFS).
