Swine Flu In Delhi 2020: Swine flu cases are increasing steadily in the country. Recently 6 judges of the Supreme Court were infected with Swine Flu (H1N1) and now the country is in awe due to its increasing cases. Swine flu is a contagious disease that spreads from person to person through sneezing, spitting or some other means. The symptoms of swine flu are similar to those of other flu, which include cough, cold-fever and headache. Apart from this, throat irritation, shortness of breath and muscle problems are also symptoms. It is important to be vigilant and check them all.
In fact, in the last few days, many cases of swine flu have been reported in the capital of the country (there is a steady increase). So far 152 positive cases of swine flu or influenza virus have been reported. These cases have been reported within the last two months. However, according to the National Health Control Center (NCDC), there have been no deaths.
Dr Surjit Chatterjee, Senior Consultant, Internal Medicine at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, said, "Usually the virus spreads more as the weather changes. Not only swine flu, but all viruses thrive and spread as the weather changes. He said, "We cannot say with an assertion but some changes in H1N1 influenza virus have increased the risk of its spread." Surjit Chatterjee said, "In the last two weeks, at least 4 to 5 people in the hospital were found to be suffering from severe symptoms of swine flu." (Most patients had the runny nose, sore throat, fever and shortness of breath were common).

Chairman of Fortis C Doc, Dr Anoop Mishra said that people suffering from diabetes are being advised to get preventive vaccination. At the same time, the doctor also says that the symptoms of this virus are almost similar to the novel coronavirus.
The latest updates on swine flu status in the country are, 844 people have been treated for H1N1 influenza virus in the last one and a half months and 14 have died.
