Amla

Amla improves metabolism, which helps reduce body weight. The toxins present in the body can be effectively removed by taking amla juice regularly. Eating amla or the Indian gooseberry provides relief from various ailments too, including cold, ulcers and stomach infections. Not only this, amla has the strength to fight bacterial and fungal infections, due to which the immunity of the body increases manifolds. One can take amla in the form of a juice, as a side condiment with parathas or as pickles and jams. Best is to have a spoonful of amla marmalade (low on sugar) before sleeping with a hot glass of milk.

Cumin

Cumin water is very beneficial for weight loss as well as health. Put two spoons of cumin seeds in a glass of water and boil it for 10 minutes. After that, take it off the flame and drink it after cooling it. This water is the most effective way to lose weight. Also, it helps in treating constipation and indigestion to a great extent.

Fenugreek

Rich in antioxidant properties, fenugreek works to improve metabolism. Fenugreek is used extensively to reduce weight. Its leaves can also help in reducing weight. Strain the leaves and let the water become lukewarm. Having this every night before sleeping or first thing in the morning can help reduce the heaviness in the stomach.

Triphala

The word Triphala means 'three fruits'. Triphala is made up of hard, behad and amla. Its intake helps in reducing belly fat. Apart from this, the use of Triphala is also beneficial in relieving constipation. If you wish to have Triphala, add one teaspoon of Triphala in a cup of warm water. Keep it covered for 10 minutes and then drink.
