Instructions

  1. Start with lying on your stomach with your palms placed beneath your shoulders.
  2. Next, inhale as you lift your chest off the ground while keeping your elbows slightly bent.
  3. Draw your shoulders back, opening the front of your body.
  4. Hold this pose for a few breaths.

Gomukhasana (Cow Face Pose)

This asana involves interlacing the arms behind the back, creating a stretch across the chest and shoulders. This posture encourages a deep stretch in the chest, shoulders, and arms, promoting flexibility and circulation.

Balasana (Child’s Pose)

This asana lengthens and expands the back by compressing the front body. It also helps with overall relaxation, stretching the back and shoulder muscles, which in turn can promote better posture and potentially contribute to breast health.

Instructions

  1. Start with kneeling on the floor while bending over your legs.
  2. Draw your hips to your heels and wrap your tummy over your thighs as you bend forward.
  3. Make sure you rest your forehead on the floor while doing this.

Ustrasana (Camel Pose)

Ustrasana, or Camel Pose, is another powerful yoga posture that encourages openness in the chest and stimulates the breast tissues. This pose can be particularly beneficial for women seeking to improve breast circulation and flexibility.

Instructions

  1. Sit on a mat with your knees hip-width apart.
  2. Place your hands on your lower back and gently arch backwards, reaching for your heels.
  3. Ensure that your chest is lifted and your shoulders are relaxed.

Matsyasana (Fish Pose)

Matsyasana, or Fish Pose, is a restorative backbend that not only opens up the chest but also engages the muscles around the breast area.

Instructions

  1. Put your hands beside your body and lie on your back with your legs extended.
  2. Place your hands underneath your hips as you lift your chest toward the ceiling, creating an arch in your upper back.

Pincha Mayurasana (Forearm Stand)

This pose reverses the downward flow of energy, lengthens the front of the chest, strengthens and stretches the shoulders, and compresses the back organs.

Instructions

  1. Start in a dolphin pose with your forearms and knees on the ground.
  2. Keeping your hands shoulder-width apart, place them firmly on the ground.
  3. Walk your feet closer to your elbows, then lift your knees off the ground. Slowly begin to straighten your legs and lift your hips towards the ceiling.
  4. Keep pressing strongly through your forearms and engage your core muscles to maintain balance.
