The second bone which you see is the target for this yoga. You have to press this bone with the base of your thumb, while the other fingers remain straight. This can be done at any time of the day, and is great for your stomach. This mudra releases excess wind from stomach and body thereby reducing rheumatic and chest pain.

This is done by touching the tip of your ring finger with the tip of your thumb, and pressing these two fingers where they meet. The other fingers should be extended and straight. This mudra especially works in the morning, and the person practising it should be sitting in a padmasana with their palms of both hands on their knees.
