What is Impacted Tooth?
Impacted wisdom teeth are the third molars found at the back side of the mouth which cannot find enough space to grow normally.
These teeth are the last ones that erupt in an adult. Most adults are found with four wisdom teeth out of which two are found on the top and two at the bottom.
A person may suffer immense pain when they have impacted wisdom teeth. Such teeth can also result into damage to other teeth and some other dental troubles. However, in some cases there are visible signs of a problem. Impacted teeth are not easy to reach hence making their hygiene problematic. This makes them more vulnerable to decay or gum diseases.
