How to Manage Testosterone Levels

First and foremost, regardless of whether you have low or high testosterone, you must determine what is causing the shift. In rare cases, you may have an unknown medical condition that requires immediate attention. It is vital to see your doctor and have an examination. If you have an underlying medical condition, your doctor can prescribe therapy to help you manage it.

If none of this helps and you still have low testosterone levels, you may be a candidate for testosterone therapy. This gives your body extra doses of the hormone, which you can get through patches, injections, or gels. If you detect anything unusual about your body, consult a doctor immediately. 

Any testosterone treatment to normalise hormone levels might be time-consuming and take some time to show results. Meanwhile, you must take efforts to alleviate the symptoms of hormonal acne. To do so, you must do the following:

Dietary changes: Eating fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, fish oil, and so on can help to decrease hormonal acne. Oily foods, chocolate, dairy products, quick foods, foods high in omega-6 fats, processed grains and sugars, and so on must be avoided.

Reduce stress: Try to keep your stress under control by meditating, doing breathwork, talking to a trusted friend or family member, and engaging in pleasant activities. You can also seek the advice of a professional counsellor or therapist.

Sleep: Make an effort to improve your sleep quality and duration.
