Even though the number of coronavirus patients is steadily increasing in India. But meanwhile, the good news is that the recovery speed of coronavirus patients in India is much better than other countries. According to the latest data, the death rate of COVID-19 patients in India is 3 per cent, but the recovery rate is around 20 per cent. This means that in India, only 3 out of every 100 patients of coronavirus are dying, while 20 patients are completely cured. These figures are entirely satisfactory, and there is a clear message that one needs to be cautious during this time for faster recovery and prevention too. More than fear, one should know that even though the cases are increasing, but the rate of cure is also extremely commendable. In comparison, at present,  the recovery rate in the United States is just 9 per cent.

The Latest Figures

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on March 23, the number of coronavirus patients in India has increased to 21,393. Of these, the death toll is 681, while 4,258 people have been cured. According to these figures, India's recovery rate is currently 19.9 per cent. At the same time, the rate of growth in new cases is much lesser to what it was earlier. The only reason for this is that the Government of India imposed strict lockdown rules, preventing the infection from spreading.

Number Of Cases In The Last 24 Hours  

In the last 24 hours in India, 2,408 patients of coronavirus have been identified, while 78 people have died. The total number of patients in India has reached 21,393, and the death toll has reached 681. On March 22, only 983 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Maharashtra, while 37 people have died. Along with this, the number of corona infections has also increased significantly in Gujarat and Rajasthan. On the same day, 341 new patients were found in Gujarat and 314 new patients in Rajasthan. While 26 people died in Gujarat and 2 died in Rajasthan.

State-wise Situation

Barring Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan, the growth rate of patients has been normal in other states of the country. 167 new cases in Delhi on Wednesday, 155 new cases in Uttar Pradesh, 109 new cases in Tamil Nadu, 29 in Bihar, 3 in Jharkhand, 64 in West Bengal, 56 in Andhra Pradesh, 12 in Karnataka, 8 in Haryana, 6 more in Punjab. There have been 39 new cases in Jammu and Kashmir. Delhi has the best average in terms of curing patients, where 724 out of a total of 2248 patients have been cured.
