Effective Treatment of Vaginal Rashes As Per Ayurveda

Women have to deal with a variety of intimate health issues. One of these problems is a red rash and itching in the vaginal area. Even though this is a relatively prevalent condition, women neglect it. Due to embarrassment and discomfort, most women don't tell anybody about it, and they don't get her treatment on time. Various factors can cause itching or infection in the vaginal area. There is a lack of hygiene, or there is a bacterial infection. Here, Vaidya Shakuntala Devi is telling you possible ways of treatment of vaginal rashes with the help of Ayurveda.

What is Vaginitis?

Vaginitis is generally perceived in Ayurveda as a combination of yoni Dahan and yoni kandu, two separate vaginal illnesses. Abnormal discharge, vulvovaginal discomfort, or both are common adverse effects in the case of vaginal yeast infections. It's also possible that the discharge has an unpleasant odour.

Let us know what are the reasons for this and what is its treatment.

Vaginitis Causes

According to researchers, the rash around the vaginal area is caused by a change of soap in 50% of situations.

  • It is evident that soap can induce burning and irritation in the vaginal area. Allergies cause the red skin to become red, dry, and itchy. If this is the case, you can solve the problem by switching to a different soap or product right away.
  • When the number of beneficial bacteria in the vaginal area is low, and the amount of candida grows, yeast infection ensues.
  • The emission of a white-coloured liquid begins. A red rash appears in and around the vaginal area due to this, and the rash eventually disappears.
  • Even while urinating, there is a lot of itching and a burning feeling.

However, this isn't a significant issue. You may lessen the problem by keeping the vaginal area clean. The pH level of the vaginal fluid should be between 3.5 and 4.5. If this situation develops, women will experience a slew of issues. Itching and rashes are frequent in the vaginal area owing to illnesses such as thrush or bacterial vaginosis. To avoid this, products with the proper pH balance must be used.

What is pH Balance?

As noted, pH balance is mentioned in every product and advertisement related to personal hygiene. But very few people are aware of the meaning of pH. PH stands for Power of Hydrogen. If the pH of vagina is disturbed, soap and the use of water can damage the skin.

In such a situation, if we clean water (which has a pH of 7) or soap (with a pH of 8 to 11), the balance will be disturbed, increasing the risk of dryness, smell, itching, and other serious infections. Products with a pH level of less than five are suitable for the skin and retain the skin's moisture. The pH of the vagina is 3.5 to 4.5, and in this optimal balance, lactobacilli and other beneficial cells are formed.
