1. Reduce fiber intake 

If you include too much fiber in your diet, it can lead to symptoms of gastoparesis such as gas, bloating, and constipation. A person suffering from gastroparesis can get relief from these symptoms by increasing the fluid intake, working out, and making necessary dietary modifications. Excessive fiber intake can put pressure on your stomach muscles, further worsening the symptoms of gastroparesis. It is the opposite of what you want to do. Try to eat food items, that are not very rich in fiber. The discomforting side effects of consuming too much fiber can occur when a person eats more than 70 grams of fiber in a day.

Even walking simply can help in managing the condition of gastroparesis. It is not mandatory to to a heavy cardio. Jogging it basic walking is a low-impact way to add to your exercise routine daily. 3. Avoid raw fruits and vegetables 

Avoiding raw vegetables and fruits can also help in dealing with gastroparesis. Raw foods are more difficult to digest and the undigested parts of these items have a tendency of remaining in the stomach for a long time. There are some fruits and veggies that shouldn't be consumed at all, including oranges and broccoli, as they are high fiber and difficult to digest. But, there are other better vegetables such as avocado, zucchini, and mashed pumpkin. Some doctors evens suggest to take a gluten free diet to gastroparesis patients. 

4. Eat chewing gum

It might seem weird, but chewing gum can make a huge difference in improving the condition. Basically, chewing gum helps in producing more saliva, which contains digestive enzymes and helps in improving the muscular activity of your stomach. It also relaxes the pylorus, which is the lower part of your stomach. If you chew a gum for at least 1 hour after every meal of the day, it can act as an extremely effective treatment for gastroparesis.

5. Chew food slowly

Chewing your food slowly and efficiently can also help in managing the condition of gastroparesis.
