Using dit exfoliators such as sugar-honey scrub or chemical exfoliators containing salicylic acid can help to get rid of the dead skin cells that tend to clog those pores and trap the hair. Not just eliminating ingrown hair but using exfoliators before hair removal can also help you to open up the pores, make the process of hair removal easier and leave you with soft and smooth skin. #2. Use a lubricant before you shave

Shaving foam, shaving cream, body wash, aloe vera gel or even a conditioner, make sure that you lather on some of the lubricant onto your skin before you shave. Shaving onto the dry skin can increase your chances of getting those ingrown hair and can make you more prone to getting cuts. Before you start shaving, ensure that you dampen your skin a bit and lather on some lubricant to reduce the friction between the razor and your skin. Allow the lubricant to sit on your skin and to soak in for a few minutes so that your hair can soften up. Other than this you can also try a warm compress by placing a moist warm towel onto your skin to loosen up those pores and soften the hair along with moistening the skin.
